Questions and Answers
Question: I’m curious with the character named Chief in Page Thirteen – Chief. Is he based on anyone in particular? - BF
Answer: I’ve been asked about Chief several times. I’m reluctant to throw out a name but there is a person loosely associated with the character. He was somewhat of an urban legend in some corners of the New Orleans area. I say was because he’s not with us any longer. On a sidenote regarding Chief, I received a message a while back from the daughter of a man included in the dedications for that novel. This man is also deceased. She was touched upon having discovered the dedication and her appreciation warmed my heart. - DM
Question: I love your dog. Can you tell anything about him/her? - AM
Answer: Buster Brown joined the team a few years ago. One of my sons found him abandoned in a national forest. He was 55 lbs. when he joined us. Now he’s up to 80 and solid muscle. He’s thriving and has become a valuable member of the Page Thirteen team! My bodyguard and BBF! - DM
